Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DailyQuotes: Quote of the Day mobile application (the "App") operated by DailyQuotes ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DailyQuotes is a mobile application that provides:

  • A curated daily quote across multiple categories (Motivation, Wisdom, Happiness, Success, Mindfulness, Love, and more).
  • The ability to save, like, and organize quotes into collections.
  • Daily reading streak tracking and milestone rewards.
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets displaying your daily quote.
  • Quote sharing as images.
  • Premium features including AI-powered quote generation and access to premium categories.

The App is available in 13 languages.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or email/password authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Premium Plans

DailyQuotes offers the following premium subscription plans:

  • Monthly — $4.99 per month (auto-renewable, includes 7-day free trial).
  • Annual — $29.99 per year (auto-renewable, includes 7-day free trial, supports Family Sharing).
  • Lifetime — $79.99 one-time purchase.

4.2 Billing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

4.3 Free Trials

Monthly and Annual plans include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the end of the trial period.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.

4.5 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same subscription rate.

5. User Content

5.1 AI-Generated Quotes

The AI Quote Generator feature allows premium users to create custom quotes using artificial intelligence. You are responsible for the prompts you provide. You may use AI-generated quotes for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5.2 Collections

You may create and organize personal collections of quotes within the App. These collections are private to your account.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the AI Quote Generator to create content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing.
  • Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringing on any intellectual property rights of others.
  • Intended to impersonate any person or entity.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Content

All quotes, designs, graphics, user interfaces, and other content provided in the App are owned by DailyQuotes or licensed from their respective authors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from App content without our written permission.

6.2 Sharing

You are permitted to share individual quotes through the App's built-in sharing functionality for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is maintained.

7. Notifications

The App may send push notifications including daily quote reminders, streak warnings, and weekly recaps. You can manage notification preferences in the App's Settings or through your device settings at any time.

8. Widgets

The App provides Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that display your daily quote. Widget functionality requires iOS 17.0 or later and uses App Groups to sync data between the App and widgets.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The quotes or AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements.
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DailyQuotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DailyQuotes from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DailyQuotes operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
